AloneAssist (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-powered daily wellness calls for older adults. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when setting up and managing your account:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Subscriber information:Your parent’s (or older adult’s) name, phone number, preferred call time, and timezone.
- Care Circle contacts: Names, phone numbers, and notification preferences for people you designate to receive updates.
- Pet profiles: Pet names, species, feeding schedules, medications, veterinarian contact, and emergency caretaker information you choose to share.
- Call data: Voice recordings (temporarily), transcripts, mood scores, AI-generated summaries, and any flags raised during calls.
- Payment information: Billing is handled by Stripe. We never store your credit card numbers — only a tokenized reference Stripe provides.
How We Use Your Data
- Conduct daily wellness calls and generate post-call summaries.
- Send call confirmations and alerts to your Care Circle contacts.
- Generate weekly reports for your dashboard.
- Improve call quality and personalize conversations over time.
- Process subscription payments through Stripe.
What We Share
We do not sell your data. Ever. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Care Circle: Call summaries and alerts are shared with the contacts you designate.
- Retell AI: Our voice AI provider processes call audio to power conversations. They operate under a data processing agreement with us.
- Stripe: Our payment processor handles all billing data under their own privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Data Retention
- Voice recordings: Retained temporarily for summary generation, then deleted.
- Transcripts and summaries: Kept for the duration of your active subscription.
- Account deletion: Canceling and deleting your account removes all associated data within 30 days.
TCPA Compliance
By enrolling a subscriber (the older adult who will receive calls), you confirm that you have the authority to consent on their behalf to receive automated outbound calls from AloneAssist. Consent is obtained during the signup process and can be revoked at any time by canceling the service.
Your Rights (California Residents — CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
- Delete your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information — though we do not sell data.

Children’s Privacy
AloneAssist is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account with one click from the Settings page. Deletion permanently removes your account, subscriber profile, Care Circle contacts, call history, and all associated data within 30 days.
